Re-convene the National Assembly in order to debate the tabled Motion of No Confidence in the President of the Republic as a matter of immediate priority.
The undersigned organisations call on your office to re-convene the National Assembly by Friday 07 April at the latest in order to urgently debate and vote on the tabled Motion of No Confidence in the President of the Republic. This is in accordance with section 102 of The Constitution of the Republic of South Africa read with Rule 129 of the Rules of the National Assembly (9th Edition).
We are gravely concerned at the current state of South Africa’s democracy and consider it of critical importance for the National Assembly to address this as an immediate priority.
