Whistleblower protection: have your say on draft amendments to the Protected Disclosures Act

The Department of Justice & Constitutional Development is inviting comment on draft amendments to South Africa’s whistleblower protection law: the Draft Protected Disclosures Amendment Bill is open for comment until 4 July 2014.

The aim of the draft Bill is to address some of the gaps in the Protected Disclosures Act of 2000 – a summary of the amendments can be found in the preamble to the draft Bill, which you can download here.

Comments can emailed to HduPreez@justice.gov.za or faxed to 086 649 6582, or posted to the Department of Justice & Constitutional Development in Pretoria.
